After my period working for other promoters came to an end in 2017 I decided that I wanted to create a brand which would be a mixture of event work, signings and an informal consultancy for events to keep pre-orders and consignments under one roof and also to get the benefit of my experience in the field and so 237 Signings was born.

The name and logo branding, for those that don't know, was taken from one of my all time favourite movies, Stanley Kubrick's The Shining and for the next few years I worked alongside promoters in offering bespoke signing services tailored to their needs an was able to deliver a service that was value for money, reliable and consistent for the companies and our customers offering both show services and private signings with some great talent.

In 2018, 237 Signings partnered with Carl Whiteley of Jollywood Events and brought a number of insanely wonderful and wildly successful series of events under the Draig-Con banner and had started the set up and planning for a Harry Potter event in Redlands, California prior to the tragic accident that led to his untimely death. Carl was a 'Barnumesque' character whose enthusiasm and desire to do something outside of the run of the mill conventions was on a par with my own. We made some magic together and he is much missed.

After COVID, 237 Signings dropped out of public customer facing services and focused solely on a role with a single promoter client running their in-house guest liaison and contractual acquisition services but is still very much around and in service looking for the next adventure.
